Ana Lucía Hill Mayoral is a nationally and internationally recognized speaker who has participated in various forums with national and international organizations and educational centers. As a crisis and risk consultant, she has worked with the World Bank, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), and the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA). Her focus is on fostering local capacity building for preparedness, response, resilience, and continuity through the Citizen Initiative "YO SOY PROTECCIÓN CIVIL" (I AM CIVIL PROTECTION), always emphasizing the importance of inter-institutional coordination and collaborative efforts across sectors.
She currently holds positions as a special advisor and professor in postgraduate programs at the National School of Civil Protection (ENAPROC) Chiapas campus, where she continues contributing to the academic and professional development of students in the field of Risk and Disaster Management. Ana Lucía leads the implementation of innovative approaches and best practices in civil protection and comprehensive risk management.
Her Professional Background
Ana Lucía holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), a Master's degree in Political Management from The George Washington University, and is a Ph.D. candidate in Crisis Management, Disasters, and Risks at The George Washington University. Additionally, she has a Ph.D. in Social Studies from Universidad Anahuac.
